An alarm that asks for proof.
A normal alarm can be dismissed by the least reliable version of you: the half-awake person under the duvet. PPS adds a deliberate action between hearing the alarm and ending the wake session.
Barcode scan alarm
Choose a barcode away from your bed, such as a milk carton or toothpaste box. When the alarm rings, PPS asks you to physically reach the item and scan it.
Squat and movement alarm
Complete a movement challenge and let the camera count the required repetitions. The goal is not a workout. The goal is to make “turn it off without waking up” harder.
Question alarm
Read a short prompt and enter an answer. PPS uses the task as cognitive friction: a real interaction instead of one sleepy tap.
Reply challenge
Respond to a prompt in a chat-style interface. Typing requires more attention than dismissing a standard alert.
Can I combine alarm challenges?
Yes. PPS is designed around proof chains. You can place challenges in sequence so the alarm only completes after the chain is finished.
